LIAM MULCAHY


Liam has over 30 years of commercial and general management experience within multinational companies in the oil and energy sectors both in Ireland and overseas, particularly in the Baltics.  He has an innate understanding of what drives commercial strategies and drives the importance of emotional intelligence in management teams. With a proven track record of success in sales and general management, Liam has now turned his focus onto helping other companies drive their success.

Experience

Liam worked in numerous roles in the oil, energy and retail sectors focusing on sales and commercial strategy. He worked for Statoil in Ireland and the Baltics where he gained valuable experience in international business models and different cultures before joining Topaz Energy where amongst other achievements, he built multi-channel, high-performance sales teams that deliver results year on year well ahead of the market. He developed and implemented commercial strategies in line with the company brand and targets, delivering accelerated growth ahead of the market.

Liam has also been involved in large tenders and procurement of commodity products in the B2B sector and has experience of executing large customer supply contracts in the private and government sectors. He is a firm believer in creating a high performing culture in both teams and companies and has broad experience in launching brands, acquisition and the smooth integration of companies under one umbrella group.
