John founded FinRes in 2010 and is an experienced private capital financier. Since founding FinRes John has advised on over $500m of corporate transactions both on the advisory and principal side. John played a key role in the buildup of platforms in the staffing and talent sector (BPVA), the insurance broker sector (BHP), and the technology sector (Kubicle / Xtremepush / Broadway). Before founding FinRes John worked at Key Capital in the areas of Private Equity and Capital Markets. John was a fund manager of a quantitative Long/Short equity hedge fund at NCB and has also worked in the Irish and global insurance and reinsurance sectors. John is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and has a BBS from Trinity College.
