Noel Lacey is Head of Group Safety at An Post and a leader in integrating safety with sustainability and ESG performance. With over 30 years’ experience, including 22 years as an Engineer in the Irish Naval Service and eight years as a safety regulator in Dangerous Goods transport and workplace vehicle safety, he brings a unique cross-system perspective on risk and governance. Since 2018, he has led safety strategy for a national organisation of over 9,500 employees, advising at Board level. He also chairs the PostEurop Health & Safety Working Group, promoting best practice across Europe. As a mentor, he supports leaders in embedding safe, sustainable and high-performing operations.
