Geoff Meagher
A Certified Public Accountant and commercially driven individual, Geoff has over 35 years of experience at senior management level in various Irish and international entities. He currently advises clients across a range of industry sectors overcoming challenging market conditions and repositioning for future growth and market improvement.

Experience
Having trained in a Big 4 firm, Geoff’s experience covers managing significant business operations, acquisitions and disposals, investment appraisals, banking arrangements, IT, shared services and general management. He has held senior roles in a number of companies, the most notable being Glanbia PLC where he held roles of Deputy Managing Director and Group Finance Director. Prior to his retirement in 2009, Geoff was responsible for the commercial performance of two core divisions with a combined turnover of over €900 million per annum. In his time managing the Group Purchasing Division, Geoff very much focused on the realisation of wide scale cost efficiencies throughout the Group. He was also a key player in the successful merger of Avonmore Foods with Waterford Foods in 1999 and since then was part of a management team that completed over 30 acquisitions and disposals. Geoff was also responsible for the Group IT and Group Shared Services functions which oversaw the implementation of the SAP platform across the wider business. He now holds a number of Non-Executive Director roles and is currently Chairman of Bord na Mona PLC.
